Debra Blatt stands on a foundation of organizational behavior and management experience grounded in over two decades in business. The focus of her work is improving business results through creative, collaborative communication. She has experienced first-hand the need for attention to group dynamics to resolve conflict and build collaboration in organizations. She combines her understanding of human behavior, business operations and building collaboration to provide programs that develop management and leadership skills. She cultivates leaders to discover solutions, make decisions, change culture and improve bottom line results. Her extensive, practical experience and straightforward approach enable her to connect with participants and make training transformative.
Ms. Blatt's consulting work has included organizational assessment and design, consulting, training, dialogue facilitation and executive coaching services. Prior to establishing Group Restoration in 2004, she worked as the Director of Administration for a 22 lawyer law firm, was the Director of Human Resources and Training and Development for Laura Ashley North America and the Director of Training and Development for KB Toys. Her extensive retail background includes both staff positions and field management positions.
Ms. Blatt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She is a member of the National Storytelling Network, the Organizational Development Network, and the Human Resource Association of Berkshire County (HRABC). She is certified in dialogue facilitation and as a de Bono Six Thinking HatsÆ facilitator. She is also an affiliate consultant for Grinnell Leadership based in Chapel Hill, NC.
